Every tutor card is checked by a person before it goes live. Here is exactly what we verify — and what verification does not mean.

Professionals
Working professionals are judged on their degree, PGDE, and tutoring record rather than a single exam score.
How the check runs

You submit documents
Transcripts, component scores, and identity documents go through the join flow.

We check them manually
A staff member reviews every document against the tier bar, and may ask for more before approving.

The card goes live — tiered
Your card publishes with its verification tier shown. Tier 2 (Verified) requires the top academic bar.
What verification does not mean
- We do not guarantee a grade.
- We do not guarantee a school or university offer.
- We do not vouch for a tutor's marking style.
